Every decade or so, Sade graces the world and her record label (50 million sold and counting..) with a new release. Her last release, Lover's Rock, showed Sade could manage to update her sound while still staying true to why we love her in the first place - beautiful and, at times, heart wrenching vocals and production both timeless and contemporary. Her upcoming release, Soldier Of Love, is set to release February 8 of next year. This record comes a full 10 years after Lover's Rock, and due credit to the label, with a clever release date right before Valentine's Day. I think I just found my girl's gift. Or mine.
